January 16th 2008: Sophie Hankes IEU-Alliance discusses the Tell and Repair legal proposal with Minister Klink (NL) of Healthcare and presents a letter to him. You can find the letter

On the 19th December 2007 Nico Oudendijk Deputy Inspector General Inspectorate of Health Care has signed the Tell and Repair legal proposal in a meeting with Sophie Hankes SIN-NL / IEU-Alliance.
On the 7th of November 2007 the Association of Medical Consultants, the Association of Hospitals and the Association of Nurses and Caregivers in the Netherlands acknowledged that they generally do not inform victims of medical errors in an honest way and generally do not give adequate remedial medical care to these victims!
They agreed to formulate a proposal before the 15th of March 2008 to improve medical care to the present and future victims of medical errors. They agreed to base the proposal on the Tell and Repair legal provision.
